ABOUT DOMAIN REGISTRY AND TRANSFER
Domain registry, in Brazil, is made by the registro.br site, managed by the Brazillian Internet Steering Commitee (CGI). You can check on their tutorial on how to make a new registry here: http://registro.br/suporte/tutoriais/novo-registro.html. To register a domain, it is necessary to be a legally represented or established entity in Brazil as a legal person (institutions that possess a CNPJ) or a natural person (CPF) contactable in the national territory. Foreigners may register domains in Brazil through procurators established in Brazil. To contract the registry of domain through Tudonanet, you just need to fill a form by clicking here.
To request that the migration of your site is effected by our team, you may open a support ticket through the e-mail address email@example.com and provide data on the type of migration requested, such as FTP, databanks, emails.
If you wish for an complete migration (archives, emails and databanks), it will be necessary to provide the old server’s FTP connection address: host or IP (if unknown, contact the old server’s provider and request it), username and password. If you have access to the old server’s control panel, provide the following data: access address, username and password.
A domain is just your site’s name in the Internet. It is the address through which it will be accessed. For example: Tudonanet’s site domain is tudonanet.com.br.
A host is your site’s housing in the Internet: where it will be located, using servers where its data, emails etc. will be stored.
It means Tudonanet will be in charge of altering your domain’s DNS to Tudonanet’s own DNS’s. If you choose that option, after your request’s payment is confirmed, Tudonanet will contact you requesting the necessary data to effect the alteration.

A used domain doesn’t necessarily have any pages in it. It may be registered just for email usage. It is not possible to request any already registered domain, whatever its usage is.
USING THE WEB SERVER AND EMAIL
The module responsible for executing PHP scripts (mod_php) keeps the task processes running instead of starting and stopping PHP at each requisition. That behavior results in higher performance, but also in difficulties in file permissions, considering that webserver’s processes are executed with a different user (nobody) than FTP. Consequently, files created directly via programming, such as file uploading, may not be edited or removed by an FTP user and will need permission 777 to be handled. It works the same the other way: FTP created files may not be edited via programming

PHP is run by php-fpm, which runs on CGI. This way, only one father process is kept open while the others are start as requested by the PHP. Each child process is kept running for a set time and, in case there is no new request within that period, it is killed. The father process can handle up to 10 thousand simultaneous requisitions. That way, FTP users may also handle the PHP, since the user himself has his own process, which means all files created via an application or direct upload through the website will have the FTP user’s permissions, making it unnecessary to have the 777 permission, since the handler themselves will have permissions over the files for writing alterations.

The practice or broadcasting of services and software that aim towards the release of en masse unrequested emails (SPAM) is strictly prohibited.
Attempts of causing harm to the server or other hosted client will lead to the immediate and non refundable cancellation of your contracted plan.
We find ourselves in the right of cancelling any and all of our services upon detection of the violation of any one of the above mentioned or following conditions, without early notice or refund.

Examples of prohibited content and links in our servers:

The judgment over what constitutes violation of these rules and conditions will be held exclusively by us. The client must be aware that, in case any such material happens to be found in our servers, it is to be immediately deleted without early notice.
No. It is prohibited to host third-party websites inside a single account. If you wish to host more websites in our servers, contract more hosting plans.
It is not allowed to use our servers for the transmission of unrequested emails or any attitude considered to be spamming or sending the so-called “zip-bomb” files. We consider SPAM any message sent without the recipient’s permission. We find ourselves in the right to cancel your hosting plan in any occurrence of SPAM within our servers.
You are free to use any CGI software, depending on the hosting plan you choose, however we reserve the right to disable any CGI software, without early warning, in case it comes to show malfunction or cause overload that may threaten the server’s stability and maintenance.
An email redirector is a means to send any and all messages to another or several other addresses; Namely, your own! For example, when you send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, the message is re-sent to another address. This is useful for the distribution of e-mails among several people working in a department. Its usage is unlimited! Use as many of them as you find necessary.
There’s no such limit. You can execute transfers at any moment of the day and night, being careful not to exceed your plan’s traffic limit.
After signing up your hosting account, you can access your website through http://yourwebsite.com.br.
Your username is the domain without its category (.com, .com.br, .net…)
Your domain will work properly right after the necessary DNS configuration.
You can change your email account’s password using Webmail’s control panel at http://webmail.yourwebsite.com.br.

SSH (Secure SHell) is a protocol that enables you to virtually access the server as if you were in a terminal (through the DOS Command Prompt, for example). If you may, consider SSH as a computer controlling another computer.
First, you need a program connecting through port 22. In this tutorial, we will use Putty, an easy to use program that satisfies most users.

CONNECTING TO TUDONANET, THROUGH THE PUTTY PROGRAM
1. Host Name: Enter your Linux account domain;
2. SSH: Choose the SSH protocol, to connect to port 22;
3. Click “Open”;
4. Enter your username and password;
5. All done! You have remotely connected to Tudonanet’s computer while logged into your account.
You might want to protect your company’s confidential directories or files so that only password holders may visualize its content. Since you’re your own web admin, you can do it yourself.
Follow the steps below:
1. Create a text file named .htaccess in the directory you wish to protect;
2. In the created file, enter the following text with proper modifications:
AuthUserFile /home/your_account/www/directy_to_be_protected/.htpasswd AuthGroupFile /dev/null AuthName Protected!! AuthType Basic <Limit GET POST> require user desired_username
- Connect to your account via SSH, and, into the directory you are to protect (/home/your_account/www/directory_to_be_protected/), type:htpasswd -c .htpasswd desired_username
This command will have the password file named .htpasswd created, and the “desired_username” user added to it. Any other name other than .htpasswd can be used, and it can be located in any other directory, as long as proper modifications have been made to .htaccess, on what refers to the password file’s call path.
Be careful when using the -c parameter with an already existing file, as it will erase all users already saved.
You can also enable all users saved within .htpasswd to see a directory’s content. To do so, just change the “require user desired_user” line to “require user valid-user” in the .htaccess file so that any user in .htpasswd is eligible to browse through the directory.
.htaccess and .htpasswd files will not be visible in FTP.
To change your FTP password, connect to your account via SSH.
After logging in with your username and password, enter “passwd” into the prompt, without the quotes. A script will require the current password once, and then the new password twice.
Yes, you can! With custom error pages, you can create your own pages with specific error messages to be shown to the user if he enters a wrong address.
How to make a custom error page:
1st) Create the page in html, however you want it to look, with your error message.
2nd) Save it as 404.html (standard name), and publish it in your www directory through FTP.
Easy as pie! Your error page is now configured.
Email redirection works like this: you can configure your website in a way all messages sent to your domain are automatically forwarded to the email maintained in your provider. Optionally, you can configure that messages sent to specific addresses in your site are forwarded to specific email addresses.
For example, you can configure your site in such a way that messages sent to email@example.com are forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org, and email@example.com are forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In any of the above cases, there’s no need to reconfigure your email program.
An automated response is a resource that automatically sends a standard text to any who send text to a specific address.
The “catch-all” address will receive all messages sent to an nonexistent email address in your domain.
The POP account has username and password, and stores the messages in the server. Different of redirections, you must alter your email configurations to read messages sent to a POP account.
CONFIGURING EMAIL AND FTP PROGRAMS:
Configuring your email:
Any and all email software requires 5 basic pieces of information for its setup. These are:
– IMAP/POP “income” server name;
– SMTP “outgoing” server name;
– SMTP authentication

Below, a tutorial on how to setup authentication on Outlook:
1. In Outlook’s Home screen, click “Tools,” then “Accounts;”
2. Double click the desired email
3. In the screen that just popped up, click “Servers.”
4. Select the option “My server requires authentication”
5. Click “Settings” or “Configurations”
6. Click “Login using” and enter the username login and password for authentication as informed above

For you that is a CGI programmer, should pay attention in the permission’s configurations of your archive’s access. If the chmod is wrong, the archive will not work.
After your CGI is sent, for the same works is necessary to change the archive’s permission via FTP using the command “chmod 755″. If your cgi writes in any archive, set this archive with permission “777” with the command “chmod 777″.
The FormMail is already active in all Linux accounts, to use it, follow the steps below:
- Copy the model below and create a HTML page with the form name (ex.: contact.html)
- Replace the part “yourdomain.com” with your domain’s name and “firstname.lastname@example.org” with your e-mail address that will receive the form details (e-mail).
- Create a second HTML page, with a name like thankyou.html, that will be the presented answer after the form is sent.
